Recital of the Elephant, this Vannama enacts the majestic gait of the celestial elephant Iravana of the sacred legends.
The dignified features of the heavenly elephant are depicted in choice diction. Elephant’s bathing and frolicking about, its stride and movements are mimicked with considerable technical skill.
Danced with stately steps, the Gajaga Vannama is among the most spectacular of the series.

He and his wife, Chandrakanthi Shilpadhipathi, a talented dancer and a folk singer, have delighted audiences in more than 30 countries.
